Xiang Yu's Uncle / The Midnight Messenger
Xiang Bo saved Liu Bang at the Hongmen Banquet — out of gratitude for Zhang Liang's kindness. His midnight ride changed China's fate.
Xiang Yu's uncle. In youth he committed murder and fled to Liu Bang's camp where Zhang Liang sheltered him. Later returned to Xiang Yu. At the Hongmen Banquet he warned Liu Bang and negotiated his survival. He advised Xiang Yu not to attack Liu Bang. He served as Xiang Yu's envoy to Liu Bang. His son served in Liu Bang's court after Han was established.
